Can the Geforce 9400GT work on 300W?
I want to buy a new graphics card (geforce 9400gt) but I want to know if my computer can handle it. My computer is a

Can my computer handle the card or should I get the 8500GT 256mb ddr3?
Of course it can. 9400GT is a low wattage card. It draws less than 3 Amps on +12V rail of power supply. BUT if you want more exciting gaming, better consider at least the 9500GT w/gddr3. It will also work on your 300W PSU. It is a 35 watt card that draws about 3 amps on +12V rail.
Cards with ddr2 graphics memory are not really for serious gaming.
