XNA HELP!!!!! DEBUG probably a simple answer?
Ok well i try to run a windows game (3.0) in Microsoft Visual C# Express Edition, and i get this that pops up when i try to debug
No suitable Graphics Card found.
Could not find a Direct3D device that has a Direct3D 9 level driver and supports pixel shader 1.1 or greater.
This program requires pixel Shader 1.1 and Vertex Shader 1.1
My question is, do i have to download something, or do i need another graphics card (which is not an option) ?
It’s difficult to know for sure without knowing what kind of video card you have, but it sounds like your video card doesn’t support Shader Model 1.1. The problem is hardware — you can’t download anything to improve the situation. You would need to upgrade your video card. With brand-new cards supporting Shader Model 3.0, Shader Model 1.1 cards are a dime a dozen these days; it shouldn’t be hard to find a cheap one.
If that’s not an option, then I’m afraid you’re out of luck.
