which is a better laptop, apple macbook 2008 or dell XPS 16?
apple has a configuration: 13.3 ” screen, 2 GB DDR3 RAM, 160 GB HDD @ 5400 rpm, 2 GHz processor. it has a unibody construction & is a very good looking laptop. battery closer to 5 hrs. uses INTEL 9400 GM chipset.
dell has configuration : 16″ screen, 4 GB DDR3 RAM, 500GB HDD@ 5400 rpm, 2.4 GHz processor, backlit keyboard. it is heavy & heats up a lot. battery life 2-2.5 hrs. uses ATI RADEON graphics card
both are similarly priced but i am confused. kindly help. i do not play games, just watch movies & surf the web & use office & acrobat reader. both cost between 72-75000 rupees. kindly help. i can operate both vista & macintosh leopard OSX.
although i have been using XP as VISTA is all cluttered up
The dell Studio 16 Laptop beats the New aluminium laptop any day. the dell looks better, better specs – it doesn’t heat up at all – friend has the 13” one – and its fine. – perhaps get the smaller one – longer battery, lightweight
Get it, dell are very good and macintosh is very bad.
it’s your choice, but don’t make a 75000 rupee mistake
